The El Paso Choral Society brings musical talents together to enrich our diverse community and simultaneously encourage future professional musical endeavors in the El Paso/Juarez/Las Cruces region. When not rehearsing, the El Paso Choral Society provides our adult singers free music theory and sightreading classes. We also employ a professional 24-person Chamber Choir that leads the Chorale of over 100 singers and a full, professional orchestra.

The El Paso Choral Society’s 2018-2019 season—the 25th anniversary of Prentice Loftin as the El Paso Chorale conductor—will begin with Handel’s Messiah on December 8 at the Abraham Chavez Theatre, a festive start to the holiday season. The professional soloists, whose impressive credits are described on the reverse side of this letter, will also perform selections from their repertoire at the elegant Winter Ball on the Border on December 7 at the Summit Ballroom. The season continues with the Christmas opera Amahl and the Night Visitors on January 12, 2019, at the First Baptist Church. The Chorale will return to the Abraham Chavez Theatre on March 23, 2019, to perform the Verdi Requiem.
